I used to have a very low credit score (it was 515) and none of the credit lenders would give me one red cent.

Improve your credit score, clean up your credit history and you will be able to borrow money at a much lower rate of interest than somebody who has a low credit score and a bad credit history.

Let’s look at an example, say that you wanted to buy a new car and the car retails for $25,000.
